Notes[]
The Dalbaa is an interesting ship. Despite its super high base durability and armor (as per ususal with Adisian battleships) it is stastically overall much worse than one of its sister ships, the Almas [BB], with both having an equally low module space. Despite the Dalbaa having an XL weapon slot, that the Almas does not have, XL weapons are not much better than their L counterparts and have no multi-attack options. the Almas Class is also 1300G cheaper and has a lower crew requirement. While a high crew count is beneficial for melee combat, both ships are unlocked at a point where there are no more new melee battles outside of ship combat (where the enemy almost always retreats right away). It is thus recommended to get the Almas Class instead.
Both ships however pale in comparison to the Haruul [BB], which is also the only one out of the 4 Hierarch ships with the capability to carry fighters. However the Haruul Class is unlocked far later in the game than the other 2 ships. it is effectively the last ship unlocked before the game ends.
Obtaining the Dalbaa Class blueprints[]
In order to receive the blueprints, Yuri must choose going through the Normal Route while invading Adis during Yuri The Man Chapter 7. On the planet Zuudnutag, Yuri must talk to the middle-aged man inside the tavern and agree to meet up with the Pirate TV station people. This will unlock the Pirate TV station on the planet. Which you can only access by answering "Dochin sent us" at the intercom (choosing the wrong option will permanently lock out the opportunity to access the Dalbaa Class blueprints.) Upon entering, Yuri must then talk to Farja Atlaso and recruit her. She will give Yuri the blueprints for the ship upon defeating Hierarch Batdarga.
Trivia[]
- The Dalbaa Class' real-life namesake is the Mongolian word "ᠳᠠᠯᠪᠠᠭᠠ" (Далбаа), meaning "Flag".
- The Dalbaa is the largest and most expensive playable ship in the game that neither has a special ability, nor the capacity to carry fighters.
- The Dalbaa is featured on the Japanese Box cover of the game. Alongside the Tsahih [BB], the Impero [BB] and the Graun [M].
