Cruisers have the best anti-air capabilities of all the ship types, and they also have higher than average travel and battle speeds. With the right weapons equipped, a cruiser should prove to be a real asset in any battle against enemy fighters. And although cruisers can't handle as many weapons as battleships, they can still be equipped with a good variety. These things coupled with average Armor and Mobility makes cruisers solid performers in battle. "Cruiser" is abbreviated as "CG" on the battle screen.
