Notes[]
The Castilla class is primarily designed as a shield ship and should thus not be used as a flagship. The playable version of the ship also doesn't seem to be as effective as the NPC-versions, making this ship rather ineffective to play with at all.
the Castilla also seems to suffer from a crooked bridge layout, despite having 6 module slots available for a bridge it is not possible to install a 3x2 bridge. The developers also decided to not give the ship a 7th bridge slot, preventing 3x2+1 bridge modules from being installed.
Obtaining the Castilla Class Blueprints[]
In order to obtain the blueprints for the Castilla Class 2 different criteria must be met.
- Purchasing the technological data from the laborer (Emiliano Colaci) inside the tavern on the planet Guadalajara during Yuri The Man Chapter 2 for 3000G. Doing so will also allow his recruitment later on.
- Talking to Dietrich Schneizer when first reentering the Alpha Quadrant HQ on Rentinen after returning from Escondido in Yuri The Man Chapter 3. Dietrich will give Yuri the blueprints for the ship.
